Sleep apnea affects one in five American adults, and the same study also suggests that CBD might help. Sleep apnea, characterized by breathing repeatedly stopping and starting, is considered a REM sleep behavior disorder. These studies suggest that CBD might work as a sleep aid for people who are struggling with sleep-related problems. However, CBD oil shouldn’t make you sleepy as over-counter sleep aids do.
